Day 1
Yes, I know that blogs have been around for quite a while and I have even been know to read a few, but today I started my very own blog which I will post on my website www.maryellengibson.com. I wanted to do one actually on my site, but (this will be shocking) there are NO Joomla Blogs that work on 1.5. I really like 1.5 it does a lot on the fly that 1.0 required numerous additional steps, but no blog......really. I read a few forums and yes, even blogs and this looked like the best solution. I imagine I will wrap the page or perhaps an RSS feed, who knows I will go a little wild.
Okay enough "birdwalking" my outcome for this blog is to create awesome content , so the Search Engines will love and adore me and grace me at the top of their rankings. I have already submitted my site and my RSS feeds to the Google and Yahoo demi-gods. Google is awesome I already have three of my pages indexed and my site just celebrated its one week birthday. Yahoo is always a little more difficult , but I know they will find me next week. My site map has been submitted and I headed over to Alexa and authenticated my site.
